Short Biography

Stefan Beier began to be involved with monasteries and religious orders in 1994 when, as a project partner, he collaborated on designing and implementing a touring exhibition for the Archdiocese of Berlin on the occasion of the 900th anniversary of the founding of the Cistercian Order in 1998. In 2000, he began working at the former Cistercian monastery in Lehnin with the aim of establishing a site-specific museum there.
