From the very beginning, the network partners and subsequent founding members of the association had the clear goal of not being completely dependent on subsidies and donations. In order to generate an income for the association, we intended to develop products that could be sold through the association itself, in the members’ monastery shops and through distribution partners.
All products were and are intended to have one thing in common: to be honest. They speak of monastic culture without pretending to be from the Middle Ages or to be made by monastics in their retreat. Nonetheless, they were “inspired in a retreat” and result from the intense involvement with monastic culture, monastics and their places.
