Color & Surface Designer
Carolin Libuda was born in Ahlen (Westphalia) in 1990 and studied design at the HAWK in Hildesheim from 2011 to 2014, specialising in colour design and interior design. After completing her bachelor degree, she worked as part of a six-month internship in the project and planning team of a traditional German furniture manufacturer (Thonet GmbH) to deepen her skills in planning temporary spaces such as showrooms, exhibition spaces and conference rooms. From 2014 to 2017, she completed a postgraduate master degree at the HAWK, including one semester abroad at the partner university BCIT in Vancouver, Canada. Here she worked intensively on sample collections and various techniques. Her travels and time abroad always provide her with new inspiration, as each culture cultivates its own unique interpretations of shapes, colours and their combination.
