\u00a0<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=\u201d\u201d]The association currently counts 22 monastic sites in Germany and Poland among its members.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=\u201d\u201d]The association was founded in the River Oder region between Germany and Poland and a few years ago opened up to all other sites in Germany and neighbouring countries. So far, the founding region still has the most members, but now more and more sites in other federal states are joining.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=\u201d\u201d]All member monasteries can be found on the \u2018Monasteries\u2019 page at this link.<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=\u201d1\/2\u2033][\/vc_column][vc_column width=\u201d1\/2\u2033][vc_column_text css=\u201d\u201d]The Klosterkammer Hannover (The Hanover Monastic Chamber)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Klosterkammer Hannover<\/a>, based in Hanover, is a special authority within the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony. It manages former ecclesiastical, mediatised property and maintains churches and monasteries.<\/p>\n

The Harzer Kl\u00f6ster<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u2018Harz Monasteries\u2019<\/a> are an association of monastery complexes, churches and tourist facilities in Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, and are part of the Harz Tourist Association. Together they are responsible for the event series \u2018Harzer Klostersommer\u2019 (The Harz Summer of Monasteries) and \u2018Spiritueller Herbst\u2019 (Spiritual Autumn) and they maintain the \u2018Harzer Klosterwanderweg\u2019 (The Harz Trail of Monasteries) with 95 km of pilgrimage route between Goslar and Quedlinburg.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=\u201d\u201d]<\/p>\n

The \u2018Jakobus Society\u2019<\/a> supervises the Way of St James routes in Brandenburg, West Pomerania and Lebus, providing information for pilgrims and interested parties, supporting pilgrims\u2019 hostels along the way, describing sections of the route and much more. KLOSTERLAND is a reciprocal member of the Jakobusgesellschaft with the aim of jointly developing programmes of spiritual and active tourism.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=\u201d1\/3\u2033][vc_column_text css=\u201d\u201d]The European Route of Brick Gothic<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fascinating brick buildings bear witness to the time of the Hanseatic League, the founding of monasteries and cities, and of knightly orders. The brick Gothic style in particular, the cultural heritage shared by the entire region, is ever-present in the towns along the route to this day. The European Route of Brick Gothic (EuRoB)<\/a> connects these gems of the Middle Ages. Denmark, Poland and Germany are your hosts. KLOSTERLAND and the EuRoB entered into a reciprocal partnership in 2014 to support each other with their marketing resources and develop joint programmes.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=\u201d1\/3\u2033][vc_column_text css=\u201d\u201d]The Klosterst\u00e4tten in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This association<\/a> of monastery sites, based in Bad Doberan, was founded in 2011 with the aim of increasing knowledge about the architectural monuments that the brick Gothic period left to us.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=\u201d\u201d]<\/p>\n
