The Ministry of Science, Research and Culture<\/h2>\n

The Ministry of Science, Research and Culture (MWFK) of the State of Brandenburg is responsible for the maintenance and promotion of science and culture. In addition to a central department, the MWFK has two specialized departments. The cultural department is responsible for the maintenance, promotion and development of art and culture. In order to achieve these goals, the state supports organisations promoting cultural and artistic activities and also maintains its own institutions. Furthermore, the state helps to ensure that municipalities can offer basic cultural services by providing project funding.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank<\/h2>\n

A portion of the net profit of the development agency Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank goes to a development fund to promote agriculture and rural areas. KLOSTERLAND e.V. has been receiving project funding since 2014 to work on the topics of monastic agriculture, monastic gardens and opportunities for rural areas.<\/p>\n

The funding scheme KULTUR.GEMEINSCHAFTEN (Culture.Communities) particularly enables small cultural institutions, including those run by volunteers, to professionalise in the field of digital content production.
